Welcome to the complete guide to Mass Effect: Andromeda, released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC March 20, 2017. Below you'll find links to the many sections of this guide, including the Mass Effect: Andromeda Walkthrough, a guide to Sex and Romance for all of the Characters, and even a guide to the multiple Endings.

About the game

Mass Effect: Andromeda begins in 2185, between the events of the second and third games in the original trilogy. The four Citadel Council races are planning to populate new home worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy as part of a strategy called the Andromeda Initiative. Each race will send 20,000 citizens on a one-way, 600-year journey to Andromeda aboard their own transportation vessel, called an Ark, and selects a leader, known as a Pathfinder. Once the races arrive, they will help build the Nexus, a huge space station that serves as a center of government and diplomacy, a living area, as well as a base of operations for the Pathfinders.

Gameplay

Mass Effect Andromeda is an action role-playing game in which the player takes control of either Scott or Sara Ryder from a third-person perspective. Both Ryders' appearances and first names can be determined by the player. The appearance of their father, Alec, is automatically adjusted based on how the Ryder twins look. Upon beating the game, a New Game+ is unlocked, which allows the player to restart the game with certain bonuses and switch to using the other Ryder, if interested. Players can also choose to continue playing with their existing character and complete unfinished missions.

Unlike previous installments in the Mass Effect series, where players begin each new game by choosing from six different character classes that each have their own unique set of skills, players instead have free rein to assign any skills that they want and build towards a specialty over the course of the game. For example, if the player chooses to invest solely in biotic skills, Ryder will unlock the Adept profile, which results in bonuses related to that play style. Experience points for spending on skills are earned by completing missions, and there is no cap on the number of points that can be earned.[8] Points assigned to each skill can be constantly reallocated so that players can experiment with multiple gameplay approaches without having to restart their games and build up their skills from scratch again

Mass Effect Andromeda - Allies and Relationships

Ryder Family Secrets (1)

Allies and Relationships one side missions in that are of personal importance to Ryder and the crew of the Tempest. Completing them will strengthen the bond between your crew in Mass Effect Andromeda.

Missing Arks

Apart from  Ark Hyperion, which house the majority of the Human population traveling to the Heleus Cluster, there were also three other ark ships that were supposed to rendezvous with the Nexus upon arrival.

There was Ark Natanus, the Turian ark, Ark Leusinia for the Asari, and the Salaria ark Paarchero.

However Hyperion was the only ark to return to the Nexus, more than a year overdue itself. Ryder can endeavor to find these missing arks if they so choose.

Turian Ark: Not Dead Yet

mission_Ark

After reaching the Angaran planet Aya, Ryder will find a message in their inbox for Kandros back on the nexus saying that Turians in Ark Natanus gear have been sighted on the planet Havarl. Acknowledge the email and travel to Havarl.

When you reach Havarl, you’ll need to complete the initial quest ‘’’Helping Havarl’s Scientists’’’. After doing that, you’ll hear rumors from one of said scientists about “strange, hard skinned aliens” - if Vetra is part of your party they’ll note that they look like her.

Make your way to Turian encampment to the east and help them fend off the Roekaar raiders you find attacking them. Once they’ve been dispatched, speak with Avitus Rix about the whereabouts of the Turian Ark. He’ll explain that he escaped his cryo pod after the Natanus wrecked in the Scourge, but he doesn’t know where it is - you can either continue to search for the Ark alone, or enlist his help. If you agree to split up the search duties, keep an eye out for correspondence from him after leaving Havarl.
