New Nokia 3310 what we know

Nokia-3310-range-large

Last week Nokia announced the relaunch of its classic Nokia 3310 at the annual Mobil World Congress. The handset was first released back in 2000,  has been revamped with more than ten times the battery life, a camera and a colour screen.

The company has yet to announce the release data but the handset is expected to hit the market this summer. The phone will cost you about  €49 (£42).

The device which weighs just 79.6g (original's 133g) will maintain some of the best features with improvements such as a 30 day battery life on standby and 22 hours of talk-time in one charge. The handset comes with 16Gb internal storage and a new edition of Snake. Other feature indludes a headphone jack, SD card slot, two-megapixel camera, FM radio, and 2.5G internet connection.

The downside: the phone doesn't have Wi-Fi or GPS connectivity and it can't install apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp or Instagram.
