BMW has revealed a bigger and more fuel efficient third-generation Mini Hatchback.
The company launch the new model on the 107th anniversary of the birth of the founding father Alex Issigonis.
"It's a brand new car under the skin and it retains that go-kart feel to drive," said BMW board member Peter Schwarzenbauer.
The latest Mini is as original and cheaky, Peter said it would apeal to the young people and those who love the older Mini. Back in 2007 the current/previous generation of Mini was launched.
The Latest mini will go into production later this week and will be available early next year. The vehicle will be based on a new BMW -engineered platform called UKL1.
The vehicle has new grille, LEDs on the front lights, a lower rear bumoer and steeper windscreen. According to Schewarzenbaur, customers will have options of three new 3 or 4 cylinder engines with fuel consumption reduced by about 27 percent.
The latest Mini One which is the entry -level will be available for £13, 500, then the Mini Copper which will have more equipement along with more power will cost you £15,000. The diesel version of Copper, Mini Cooper D (more econominal model) will be available for £16,000 and the MINI Cooper S which is more powerfull and fast will be £18,500.
